Dispatch Planning

The Dispatch Planning terminal is the final step before goods leave the warehouse. It bridges the gap between Packing and the Carrier.

Dispatch Lanes

When packers finish a box, they place it in a physical Dispatch Lane (e.g., "Lane 1 - Express"). The system tracks exactly which boxes are sitting in which lane.

Manifesting

The transport manager uses this screen to:

  1. Select a lane.
  2. Consolidate: Group multiple boxes going to the same address into a single Master Shipment (e.g., a pallet).
  3. Book: Send the request to the Carrier (e.g., FedEx, DHL) to generate shipping labels and tracking numbers.
